CreditDigital Terms & Conditions

CreditDigital is the trading name of MTL Financial Limited (“we“, “our” and “us“), a private company incorporated and registered in England with company number 10923992, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ.
This Agreement sets out the terms and conditions of the credit brokering services offered by CreditDigital via the CreditDigital platform “the Service”. This includes your access and use to all content, services and products offered on the CreditDigital website ( by us or our affiliated 3 rd party Lenders and Businesses.


CreditDigital offers a technology solution which connects consumers with Businesses and Lenders at the point of sale. We do not offer products or loans directly to consumers.
Products purchased from our Business partners are subject to further terms and conditions that should be defined by that Business. This should include your statutory right to cancellation and a refund.
The finance you receive is from the Lender, not CreditDigital. You will receive a consumer finance agreement from the lender and should refer to this for the terms and conditions of your loan and repayment.


By accessing and using the Services, you signify acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with, or you are not comfortable with any aspect of these terms and conditions, you should immediately discontinue access and use of our Services.
The terms and conditions defined in this document, extend to any and all future updates and/or supplements to our website, unless we specifically state that alternative terms shall apply.


CreditDigital shall, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this document, provide you with the Service. To be eligible for the Service, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older;
  • Be a permanent resident in the United Kingdom;
  • Have an annual gross income of £5,000 minimum and hold a bank account with a bank or building society with a direct debit facility; and
  • Have a good credit history with no late payments, CCJ’s IVA’s debt relief orders or bankruptcies.
  • CreditDigital reserves the right to withdraw its Service if the above conditions are not met.


    Certain information is required before CreditDigital is able to provide the Service. The collection, security, storage, and management of this information shall be governed by CreditDigital’s Privacy policy, which can be found here.
    You should review this policy before applying for the Service. By submitting an application for the Service, you certify that you have understood and agree with our Privacy policy.


    To apply for the Service, you must provide us with the following:

  • The name and ID of the business from which you wish to make a purchase;
  • The price and description of the product you wish to finance;
  • The desired deposit amount to be paid on the product;
  • The preferred term of the loan;
  • All personal information required for our lending partners to conduct the checks required to approve your loan; and
  • The required undertakings as prompted by the CreditDigital platform to certify your understanding of the Service and requirements from you upon loan approval.
  • Your obligations

    By using the CreditDigital platform to find and apply for finance, you undertake to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information and to promptly notify us if any of this information should change;
  • Use the CreditDigital platform for your own personal use only;
  • Comply with all the terms and conditions set out by the lender relating to the financing of your product; and
  • Comply with all the terms and conditions set out by the business relating to the purchase of your product(s).
  • Our role

    Once CreditDigital has received your application, we will:

  • Forward your details on to our most relevant lenders and instruct them on your behalf to undertake the necessary checks to obtain an offer of finance;
  • Obtain that offer and present to you via the CreditDigital platform;
  • Should you indicate that you wish to proceed, arrange for the lending documentation to be delivered to you via the CreditDigital platform;
  • Where necessary, arrange for further information required to facilitate the loan, such as delivery and signing of loan documentation and confirmation of payment of deposit, to be collected and submitted to the lender;
  • No Warranties

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the CreditDigital platform and Service are provided “as is” and “as available”.
    While CreditDigital will endeavour to provide the best service possible, we hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or otherwise, including, without limitation, the warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
    CreditDigital does not warrant that its website or Service will be complete, accurate, reliable, timely, secure, error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted. You acknowledge that you are using the website and Service at your own discretion and risk.
    The content on the Website and all other information which is displayed or provided to you when using the Service is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice, including financial advice, on which you should rely.
    Although we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information provided to you via our website or otherwise, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that this is accurate, complete or up-to-date.
    You should obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on our website or other information displayed to you when using the Service.

    Limitation of Liability

    To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our website or the Services, whether express or implied.
    CreditDigital shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:

  • Use of, or inability to use, our website;
  • Use of, or reliance on, any content displayed on our website;
  • Rejection of your application for the Service;
  • Any breach by an affiliated Business, including any failure or fault in the Product, or a failure or delay in the delivery of the product; and
  • Any breach by the Lender, including failure to make payment to the Merchant.

  • CreditDigital shall not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, loss sales or business opportunity, loss of agreements or contracts, loss of anticipated savings and loss of or damage to goodwill arising under or in connection with this Agreement.


    Unless prior consent is granted by CreditDigital, you shall not assign, transfer or deal in any other manner with any or all of your rights under this Agreement.
    CreditDigital may at any time assign, transfer or deal in any other manner with any or all of its rights under this Agreement, provided that such dealing will not materially affect your rights under this Agreement or the obligations owed to you under this Agreement.


    CreditDigital reserves its right to terminate this Agreement and suspend your use of or access to all or any part of the Website or the Service immediately by contacting you at your email address on record.
    Reasons for termination include but are not limited to the following:

  • The Lender terminates its agreement with you;
  • You commit a breach of the Agreement, as determined by us in our discretion, or we suspect that this may be the case;
  • We consider termination necessary to protect the integrity or security of the systems used by us at any time;
  • You are deemed either unable to pay your debts or as having no reasonable prospect of so doing, within the meaning of section 268 of the Insolvency Act 1986; or
  • You apply for bankruptcy or become subject of a bankruptcy petition or order.

  • Upon termination of the Agreement, all rights granted to you under the Agreement shall cease and you must immediately cease all activities authorised by the Agreement, including your use of the CreditDigital Service.
    Termination or expiry of this Agreement shall not affect any rights, remedies, obligations or liabilities of the parties that have accrued up to the date of termination, including the right to claim damages in respect of any breach of the Agreement which existed at or before the date of termination or expiry.


    CreditDigital reserves its right modify the Agreement at any time for any reason. Any changes we may make to the Agreement in the future will be notified to you by email.


    This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and you agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over such disputes or claims.

    CreditDigital is a trading name of MTL Financial Ltd. MTL Financial Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are a credit broker not a lender and offer credit facilities from a panel of lenders.
